ILE has feeling of potentials of an objective world - science, engineering, and production. He generates miscellaneous "crazy" ideas, quickly seizes essence of things, develops the doctrine in any field of knowledge or phenomena of life, tends to get to the bottom to plutonic, concealed essence of a problem on the basis of generalizing, reflects by abstract concepts. His words do not miss matter.
ILE feels integrity of the objective phenomena, has an inquiring mind. Everything new and progressive attracts him. He is capable to charm by it the others, and in addition he can cite new ideas, understand composite situations, but also elaborate and embody them in practice. ILE appreciates his knowledge, objectively and adequately values others, does not take notice on authorities, stereotypes. He does not allow to foil scientific - inventor's operation, flight of thought, defends full freedom of creativity. Even probable negative consequences do not stop him.
ILE is categorical, decisive in settling own thought, overcomes obstacles and limitations, obstinate at embodying in life not ordinary ideas. The trademark quality of this type is the quest for new information and experience that stimulates the mind and opens up new possibilities for thought and for new endeavors. ILEs are typically drawn to things that are poorly understood or simply unknown, and to fundamental issues (needs work). They like to systematize their insights and experience and discuss them with others. Their friends know them as people who can’t help but share their insights and interesting discoveries and who always have some interesting topic on their mind.
In their service of all that is intriguing and intellectually stimulating in the outside world, ILEs typically neglect their physical needs and activities that bring pleasure and relaxation and emotional release. However, they are highly receptive to others’ attempts to help them in these areas. The ENTP's primary interest in life is understanding the world that they live in. They are constantly absorbing ideas and images about the situations they are presented in their lives. They generally understand things about these quickly and with great depth. Accordingly, they are quite flexible and adapt well to a wide range of tasks. As they grow and further develop their intuitive abilities and insights, they become very aware of possibilities, and this makes them quite resourceful when solving problems. Their perceptive abilities cause them to see possibilities everywhere.
ENTPs are less interested in developing plans of actions or making decisions than they are in generating possibilities and ideas. Following through on the implementation of an idea is usually a chore to the ENTP. For some ENTPs, this results in the habit of never finishing what they start. The ENTP needs to take care to think through their ideas fully in order to take advantage of them. Their logical side makes their actions and decisions based on an objective list of rules or laws. If the ENTP was defending someone who had actually committed a crime, they are likely to take advantage of quirks in the law that will get their client off the hook.
The ENTP, who does not naturally consider the more personal or human element in decision making, should take care to notice the subjective, personal side of situations. If the sensing areas are neglected, the ENTP may tend to not take care of details in their life. If the ethical part of themself is neglected, the ENTP may not value other people's input enough, or may become overly harsh and aggressive.
As an ENTp, career satisfaction means doing work that:

ILE is nervous in the sphere of human relations. You cannot always discern the state of another person; therefore, he may offend others in the way he expresses what he has discovered, since he does not seem to take into account the feelings of others regarding the situation. But this is never a consequence of bad intentions, envy or arrogance. ILE simply believes that it is speaking about something objectively, and the truth is not supposed to offend anyone.
ILE's self-worth is based on other people’s attitude and their relationships. Perhaps for this very reason Aušra Augustinavičiūtė (a Don Quixote) developed socionics as a precise tool for the analysis of intertype relationships. Why did they give that look to me? What did they say? Did I hurt somebody’s feelings? How can I say “no”? This sort of questions constantly disturbs a Don Quixote.
The principle of Don Quixote's self-assessment is this: “If they love me, appreciate me, then I am a good person”. Positive feedback is a source of considerable increase of energy (may lead to euphoria). But when something goes wrong, relationships turn sour then his spirits are lower, the energy evaporates, everything looks terrible, and joy of life is quenched. If the negative outlook on life is lingering, low self-esteem leads to an illness (a neurosis). In the basis of this neurosis lies the mechanism of subconscious self-justification: “I am good in general, it is just now I am ill”. It is a way to avoid negative feedback from one’s reference group. Protecting the third function a Don Quixote tends to reason (“you misunderstood me") and mend broken relationships. He does not seek to change partners. People of this type tend to blend into the background of their social group; they do not like to impose their will on others. However, sometimes they chose to rely on the “minus-defense”: “I am so bad, worse than you can imagine, no one can approach me or talk to me. Accept me just as I am". Then it is easier to deal with this type.
